The world, of course, responded sharply. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking three days later, briefly praised Prabowo's optimism, only to reject it outright. He vowed to block any Palestinian state, accused Western nations of hypocrisy, and defended Israeli military operations as necessary while denying genocide claims. His remarks sparked widespread protests, from mass rallies in Times Square to walkouts by UN delegates.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, by contrast, had spoken a day earlier with a conciliatory tone. He reminded the world that Palestine had already recognized Israel under the 1993 Oslo Accords. Abbas called on Hamas to lay down arms and assured the international community that Hamas would not be part of a future Palestinian government. His goal was clear: a sovereign Palestinian state under international law, with East Jerusalem as its capital and borders restored to their pre-1967 lines.

These contrasting reactions highlight the complexity of the conflict. On one side, Israel slams the door shut; on the other, Palestine signals readiness for compromise. Indonesia's proposal arrives in the middle, as a voice that is firm yet constructive---moderate, rooted in values, but also offering a tangible condition for peace.

This is what separates criticism from constructive diplomacy. Indonesia is not merely condemning; it is proposing a balanced solution: recognition in exchange for lasting peace. The idea may not be accepted overnight, but it creates a new narrative. In a world fatigued by empty diplomatic rituals, Indonesia shows that words can be matched with actions---even readiness to send troops to safeguard civilians.

Indonesia's Vision Ahead

Viewed in historical perspective, Prabowo's offer is not a departure but a continuation of Indonesia's diplomatic tradition. From Soekarno's call for a just world to Prabowo's pragmatic bargaining, the red thread remains clear: commitment to independence, justice, and humanity.

The real question now is whether the world is ready to listen. Perhaps not immediately. But Prabowo's speech has set a new benchmark. It demonstrates that diplomacy cannot be confined to narrow self-interest; it must also be anchored in universal values. In a global climate increasingly dominated by raw power politics, such a voice is not only refreshing---it is essential.

With this stance, Indonesia is not only settling its historical debt to Palestine. It is also offering a new paradigm for global diplomacy: one that does not end with denunciation, but that advances fair terms, constructive solutions, and the courage to take risks.

This vision breathes new life into Soekarno's old dream of a world that is just, moral, and civilized. In his own way, Prabowo has reignited that torch. The question is no longer whether Indonesia is ready, but whether the world is prepared to follow a path where values matter more than narrow interests.

In the end, time will tell whether Prabowo's offer becomes a turning point or a utopian gesture. What is certain is that Indonesia has demonstrated that value-based diplomacy is not mere rhetoric. It is a deliberate choice: bold, constructive, and relevant. From its long history, Indonesia shows that solidarity is not just a beautiful word in speeches, but a commitment carried into real action for peace.
