2 years ago, Bengawan Solo river was very clean and beautiful. Bengawan Solo river was becoming the scene that’s kind of nice for people who will go through the bridge over the river. Besides that, Bengawan Solo river is the pride of Solo i think. but now that beautiful river is becoming a garbage bin. why did i say that Bengawan Solo river is becoming a garbage bin ? because the river now is very dirty and has a lot of trash. When the government knew that the river was very dirty the government was so surprised but the government didn’t know the cause of the river becoming so dirty. After the government found out it turns out that it is people arround there who throw trash to the lake. Not only them, people who go arround there also throw trash to the lake too. Other people who cross the bridge also throw trash too. But Surakarta government have solution for making bengawan solo river become clean again.
 Now i will explain about the government solution. The 1st solution is to notify people not to throw trash into the river because Bengawan Solo river is a pride for Surakarta people and then asking people arround there to imagine what if people from another town see how the river that we are proud of be very dirty, what do you want them to say the people from different city to the river that we are proud of ? the goverment will take people arround to remind each other not to throw trash into the river so we didn’t add more trash at the river.
The 2nd solution, the government will take people to work togather to clean up the river they are proud of. The government will take people to clean up the river every Sunday. Not only that, the government will help with a kind of heavy equipment like excavator so people don’t need to work hard. It will do from 9 to 12 noon then the next activity will do at the next week. the government will do this activity until the river be clean again like it used to and the government will give a gift for people who always follow the cleaning river activity.
The 3rd solution, the government will give a warning to all people not to throw trash into the river for people who are still against going to give punishment, the goverment will likely give punishment to anyone who litter into the river to follow the cleaning the river activity for 2 months if the person who broke don’t follow activity then the people who broke the warning will pay a fine of 2 million rupiah. The government would tighter the rules if there are so many people breaking the warning and the goverment will give more weight for the punishment.
In my opinion, if  solutions from the government to do the activity regularly then the Bengawan Solo river that now full of garbage can be the Bengawan Solo river that was very clean and beautiful like first and then the pride of Solo can be proud of again.
