Management of Fundamental Components in International Islamic Educational Institutions
By: Lukmanul Hakim /6C/MPI/S1/Student of Islamic Education Management, FTK UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung/1222010092

Management in Islamic education encompasses various important and interrelated components that support the comprehensive achievement of educational goals. The success of education is not solely determined by the curriculum but also supported by the management systems of personnel, students, finance, and facilities, all integrated with Islamic values. The following are four main aspects of Islamic education management that need to be considered.

First, Personnel Management in Islamic education is the process of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising educational staff to achieve optimal educational goals. Its main focus includes recruitment, placement, development, evaluation, and dismissal of employees in a fair and professional manner. In the Islamic context, personnel management emphasizes the values of trust, justice, and moral responsibility. Teachers and educational staff are viewed as strategic actors in nurturing students' morality and intellect, so their management must be systematic and rooted in spiritual values.

Second, Student Management in Islamic education is a systematic effort to organize student activities from the admission process until they complete their education. Its primary goal is to foster the optimal development of students in spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional aspects in accordance with Islamic values. The functions of this management include planning, organizing, directing, and supervising all student activities. In practice, student management also plays a role in creating a conducive environment for the growth of Islamic character and the development of noble character (akhlaqul karimah) among students.

Third, Curriculum Management of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is the process of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating religious learning programs that are systematic and purposeful. Its main goal is to create PAI learning that is relevant to students' needs and current developments. Curriculum management includes the formulation of goals, content, methods, and evaluation based on Islamic values. The success of this management depends on the synergy between school principals, teachers, and education managers. With proper management, the PAI curriculum can shape the students' religious character and noble morals.

Fourth, Financial Management in Islamic education aims to manage funds effectively and efficiently to support the achievement of educational goals. Financial sources come from the government, society, and donor institutions. Good financial management includes planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Meanwhile, Facilities and Infrastructure Management covers the procurement, maintenance, and utilization of educational facilities such as classrooms, libraries, and laboratories. Both must be managed professionally so that the teaching and learning process runs optimally and sustainably in accordance with Islamic principles.

Islamic education management includes personnel, students, curriculum, and financial and facilities management. Personnel management focuses on managing educators fairly and professionally, based on trust and responsibility. Student management organizes all student activities to form Islamic character. PAI curriculum management is directed at developing a relevant and value-based Islamic learning program. Meanwhile, financial and facilities management ensures the availability and utilization of funds and educational facilities efficiently. These four aspects support each other to achieve the comprehensive and sustainable goals of Islamic education.
