They be compytent of nutriment.."  Demikian yang diceritakan Todhunter dalam bukunya buku Essays on history of Nutrition Dietetics (1967)  tentang Andrew Boorde (1490-1544) yang menulis surat kepada raja Henry VII dalam bahasa Inggris kuno seperti di atas.
