Captain Marvel Review

Captain Marvel is a movie from marvel cinematic universe, this movie is based on Kelly Sue DeConnick comic. Captain Marvel herself is played by Brie Larsson, this movie also has some senior actors such as Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and Jude Law as Yon Rogg. The setting in Captain Marvel set on 90s, in this movie you can see the young Nick Fury with his humour side different from the old Fury. Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.

The story begins on Planet Kree, Captain Marvel was an army in Planet Kree, in one mission to destroy Skrull, she was dumped off to earth and this is the first time Captain Marvel meet young Fury. On earth she finds out that she was former Air Force army and she was born on earth. She got the power from Mar-Vell a Kree people who betrayed her people to help Skrull people to find a home. This movie climaxs when she finds out that the Kree was the antagonist, she decided to help Kree find their home.

Brie Larsson act was incredibly awesome, she gives a memorable act for audience, it reminds the audience with the act of Gal Gadot as Wonder Women on DCU, other cast was spectacular, the setting also stunning the retro style, hairstyle, even 90s music was incredible. The intro was opened with all Stan Lee cameo and shaping into Marvel logo to honour Stan Lee who sadly passed away before Captain Marvel was launched. 

Weakness can be spot in this movie though, such as a monotone story, less comedy then any others Marvel movie, Captain Marvel isn't a huge movie like Avengers: Infinity War. This movie had amazing story but lack of execution, some scene was less emotional but still, Captain Marvel is worth to watch. A lot of element of surprise in this movie though, Captain Marvel is quiet awesome for the first Marvel woman super hero. Don't forget in the end of movie there's 2 post credit that will be continued in Avengers: End Game the next marvel movie. This movie is for 13+ so watch the movie according to your age.
