What's next for his country's future. While the youth has had enough with him and his ruling party, PAP. The very old man - sitting on power for life time, aged 87, salaried more than S$3 millions, appointing his son Prime Minister - finds his own idea by inviting 900000 foreign workers. This adds up existing 40% foreigner workers. Sounds amazing, Why? The youth is worried about: boosting gap between the rich and the poor, feeling alianated homeland, super highly-salaried-ministers apparanty robbing taxpayers' money for PAP family. Frankly speaking, Singapore in 21th century still keeps undemocratic political life. Every corner of mass media belongs to ruling party PAP (People Action Party) c/q Lee Kuan Yew. Basically THE YES MAN media, public should not trust to find the truth what goverment is doing. Similiar to Suara Karya daily and TVRI in the era of Presiden Soeharto. You may find reports made up from the desk fully controlld by one powerful hand. But foreign workers love this situation. Singapore is truly a heaven. Given Singaporean grant more time to LKY and PAP to stay on top for another 5 years. Foreigners support PAP by default to secure their jobs for years to come. Dominating life and bargaining power will follow in favour of foreigners. Though they remin minority and powerless in short term but time will come grab power. This strategy, of political gain in one side and job opportunity in the other side, looks similiar to one adopted by the late President Soeharto. As Javanese he promoted "Transmigration Program". Millions of Javanese were sent to other islands: Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Papua. Soon after this resulted in grabbing stronger political support to Soeharto and his GOLKAR party nation wide. And job opportunities for Javanese all along archipelagoes. The Native tribes reacted strongly years later, but it was too late. Javanese (read: from Java island) Transmigrants dominate social-economy-politic sectors in their new homeland. It was believed to what is called "social transformation" by design from the man on top of power. Why YLK and PAP need millions of Chinese foreign workers? And what kind of transformation?
