Students participating in KKN (Real Work Lecture) Malang State University (UM) hold medical tests for residents in the Kemasan District, Kediri City. The health test is one of the work programs designed by students participating in KKN in the Kemasan District. In a series of health test events, it was accompanied by another agenda, namely gymnastics. The health test was carried out by cooperating with community leaders, namely Mrs. Siska as a midwife in the Kemasan District. A series of tests are carried out such as measurements, weight, height, blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and others.Â
During the event, the people of the Kemasan District are quite enthusiastic about participating in the event so that the event runs smoothly. This can be seen from the large number of participants who take the health test. The event was also supported by the local community, especially from the youth organizations and all parties involved. The health test was carried out on Sunday, June 26, 2022, which took place at the Kemasan District office, Kediri City. The event took place from 07.30 until around 08.00 WIB.Â
The health test was assisted by ten of KKN students. This activity is a collaboration between UM KKN students and the Karang Taruna Kemasan District. In the Kemasan District, health tests are carried out three times a month, namely Posyandu for toddlers, Posyandu for the elderly and examination for Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM) for residents aged 15 to 56 years. On this occasion, UM KKN students helped for PTM health checks.
The evaluation of the examination activity was needed for alertness in setting up the chairs because in this activity the residents immediately gathered near the health examination table. The hope of this activity is that the enthusiasm of the residents will increase and it can be carried out smoothly in the next periodic health check-up.Â
