The internationalization of education continues to be an evolving challenge, given the crucial role of education in developing human potential and advancing national progress. Therefore, continuous innovation in educational management is essential. Educational innovation is part of broader social change and requires careful planning tailored to the characteristics of educational institutions. This article discusses the importance of innovation in education as a strategy to enhance school quality and respond to the challenges of the global era.
First: The Basic Concept of Islamic Educational Innovation Management; Islamic educational innovation management involves a series of activities including planning, organizing, mobilizing, and controlling resources efficiently and effectively to achieve educational innovation goals. It is characterized by relative advantage, compatibility, testability, observability, and complexity. Its principles include opportunity analysis, conceptual and perceptual approaches, starting from small-scale initiatives, and being driven by pioneers. The main targets are school systems, including curriculum and classroom management, aimed at enhancing resources and organizational effectiveness.
Second: Educational Innovation Models; The model includes four stages: invention (adapting existing ideas), development (preparing innovations for large-scale implementation), diffusion (spreading new ideas from the source to end users), and adoption (individuals or groups accepting and applying innovations through specific communication channels within certain social and cultural contexts).
Third: Strategies for Developing Islamic Educational Innovation; There are three main strategies: coercive strategy, which emphasizes authority without considering conditions; empirical-rational strategy, which relies on logic and scientific demonstration of benefits; and normative re-educative strategy, which emphasizes deep understanding through repeated educational processes for both implementers and recipients.
Fourth: Procedures and Processes in Educational Innovation Management; The innovation process involves five stages: knowledge (awareness and understanding of the innovation), persuasion (forming attitudes toward it), decision (accepting or rejecting it), implementation (putting the innovation into practice), and confirmation (reinforcing or revisiting the decision).
Educational innovation efficiency is achieved through management, principles, and resource optimization. The model includes invention, development, diffusion, and adoption. Strategies include coercive, empirical-rational, and normative re-educative approaches, while the process follows the stages of knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation.
