Basic Concepts of Managing Educators and Education Personnel
Human Resource Management in Education is a systematic way to organize and manage teaching and educational staff in terms of recruiting, planning, motivating, developing and retaining them so that all can work effectively and efficiently with the aim of achieving improvements in the quality and welfare of employees.
First, The essence of managing educators and educational staff is to improve the quality and professionalism of educators and educational staff in order to achieve school goals by carrying out their duties and functions. The aim of managing the resources of educators and educational staff is to empower educators and educational staff to achieve improvements in school quality and welfare for its employees.
Second, Humans are the most fundamental element in all things, especially in the field of education. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the meaning and essence of education itself to produce individuals capable of effectively managing education in accordance with its objectives. In short, the meaning and essence of education is continuous planning to guide and develop students' potential in accordance with applicable regulations. Furthermore, educators and educational staff have rights and obligations, including adequate wages, career development, and welfare. Their obligations include carrying out their duties properly in accordance with applicable regulations.
Third, Educator and Education Personnel Qualifications are the minimum requirements for a teacher/lecturer, including academic qualifications. Educator and Education Personnel Competencies are the skills and knowledge a teacher/lecturer must possess to carry out their duties professionally.
Fourth, The scope of teaching and educational staff includes: planning, recruitment, assignment and empowerment, work development and assessment, promotion, transfer and compensation, coaching and dismissal and retirement.
