The Tangerang city government again held the National Student Sports Olympiad (02SN) and the National Student Art Competition Festival (FL2SN)
Tangerang City level in 2022 which was previously held in 2019.
The opening ceremony of O2SN and FLS2N was attended by no less than 10,000 students ranging from elementary school (SD) to senior high school (SMA) in Tangerang. The Mayor of Tangerang, Arief R Wismansyah, directly opened a sports and arts event intended for students from elementary to high school levels throughout Tangerang City.
"O2SN and FLS2N are a forum for students to show off their artistic and sports talents," said Arief, who was present accompanied by his deputy, Sachrudin at the opening of the event which took place at the Benteng Reborn Stadium, Tangerang City, Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
Arief added that the O2SN event is also a stepping stone for young Tangerang city athletes to show their best abilities until later competing at a higher level to win international championships.
"O2SN is carried out in stages ranging from the sub-district level to the national level," he said.
In addition, in the event, a Declaration of Peace-Loving and Anti-Student Brawl was also carried out jointly by more than 20,000 students in the Tangerang City area, with the aim of avoiding students from physical violence and brawls between schools that attack each other.
"Maintain an attitude, don't be easily provoked by emotions and students can maintain peace and harmony together because if these bad things continue to be done, it will have a fatal impact," said the mayor.
The head of the Tnageranf City education office, Jamaluddin said, the O2SN event which took place from June 13-16, 2022, was attended by 208 students for the elementary school level and 136 students at the junior high school level. Meanwhile, at the FL2SN level, there were 143 students for the elementary level and 200 students for the elementary level.
"For the 02SN and FLS2N, there were six cabs competed, while the FL2SN at the elementary level was 7 competitions and Eight branches at the junior high school level," added Jumaddilah .
