ABSTRACT
Learning media is one of the tools used by educators in delivering teaching materials to students. The media can be classified into two forms, namely print and non-print media. Print media is a media in the form of writing and images that can be printed. While non-print media is media in the form of audio and video, its use can be seen using tools such as OHP, LCD, Projector, Laptop, etc. At SMP Negeri 6 Salatiga, using the E-learning Moodle-based learning media. E-learning is short for Electronic Learning. E-learning itself is a system that utilizes electronic media as a tool in the teaching and learning process. Through e-learning, students can listen to the description of the material, and actively do, demonstrate, observe what is ordered by the educator in the e-learning. The advantage of using e-learning itself is that learning can be done flexibly because it can be done anywhere and anytime, so that students can access it more easily. Utilization of e-learning moodle properly can improve learning outcomes optimally.Â
Some of the benefits of using Moodle e-learning include flexibility in place and time. It is more effective because in the delivery, teaching can be in the form of a simulation because it uses sophisticated technology. Students can access and understand the module and can repeat the material that has been given by the teacher. Effective in terms of learning time and cost. Facilitate interaction between students and learning materials. There is an increase in interaction between students with educators and fellow friends. The availability of learning resources is not limited. Improving the quality of graduates and schools. The formation of a learning community that interacts with each other, gives and receives and is not limited to one location. Improving the quality of educators because it is possible to dig up information more broadly and not limitedly.
