Actualisation Charachter in Islamic Education for Teenager in Post Modernism Era

Education is a process of forming human character that never stops and is maintained. So, education is a cultural process that creates character to give meaning to life as a human. Education is a universal and continuous form of continuity, from generation to generation. 

Therefore, education is an effort to humanize human beings whose processes are carried out in accordance with the view of social culture. The basic aim of this education is to make the normative education philosophy.

Islamic education, in the narrow sense is an activity that makes Islam as a guide of life, namely as a servant who serves and worship requires a learning process. 

And in a broad sense, Islamic education is interpreted as a conscious effort that is combined with the growth and development of children with the optimization of the potential that has been bestowed by a God who relies, and this potential allows by being able to assume responsibility as the caliph of God on earth in his service in the form of values according to the expectations of God. 

Both meanings of Islamic education are implemented fully and integratedly, in order to humans are could and able to cultivate all the potential that exists on earth for human prosperity, which deliver it for happiness in the world and the heaven.

With the brief description above, the scope of Islamic education is aspects of human life in the world, so that humans are able to use it as a place of doing good which the result is happiness. Thus, the formation of attitudes based on Islamic values in the human person will be effective when accompanied by an educational process that is based on Islamic teachings. 

So, the scope of Islamic education includes integrated aspects of Islamic teachings, namely aspects of faith, worship, muamalah, which have implications for changes in the process of thinking, actions, actions, and things that shape personality in the form of manifestations of akhlaqul karimah as a form of a complete Muslim human being (Insan Kamil).

The process of education is always changing, a generation may not educate it with the pattern of the previous generation, because the difference in time faced is also different in how to deal with it. The pattern of education that is applied by educators to their students varies. In essence, this educational pattern aims for the good of children who will later live in harmony with society. 

Good education patterns that focus on morals, tolerance, freedom and independence. As one of the objects of students, there are problems of adolescents, the occurrence of juvenile delinquency is not solely due to lack of attention or parenting mistakes. But can also be caused due to several reasons, one of the reasons which is socio-economic factors, and low levels of education.

Teenagers should have autonomous rights, namely the freedom given to them and the sense of responsibility provided by Islamic education. When children are teenagers, automatically character building is a must-do, through an understanding of the benefits of technology and self-actualization which can prevent themselves from negative things. So, with the character being built, the children can automatically protect themselves from what they understand, do, and experiences.

In life, creativity and the ability to think critically are the main pillars in agreed upon science. And in this era came an understanding called postmodernism. Postmodernism is a pragmatic view, which criticizes the mindset of modern thought patterns that cause modern humans to fail in creating good, peaceful and socially just social situations.
