The COVID-19 pandemic is a worldwide event of the spread of Coronavirus disease throughout the world for all countries. This disease is caused by a new type of coronavirus, named SARS-CoV-2. The COVID-19 outbreak was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei, China on December 1, 2019, and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. As of November 14, 2020, more than 53,281,350 cases had been reported. reported more than 219 countries and regions worldwide, resulting in more than 1,301,021 people died and more than 34,394,214 people recovered.

A positive case of COVID-19 in Indonesia was first detected on March 2, 2020, when two people were confirmed to be infected by a Japanese national. As of April 9, the pandemic has spread to 34 provinces with DKI Jakarta, West Java and Central Java as the provinces most exposed to the corona virus in Indonesia. On May 6, 2021 in Indonesia, 5,285 new cases were recorded. With 5,943 cases of patients recovered and 212 patients died. The rest are still being treated. This pandemic had many impacts on Indonesian society.

First, Now the Indonesian people are carrying out the month of Ramadan. Soon there will be Eid, but because of this pandemic people are prohibited from returning to their hometowns. The government officially enforces a ban on going home. The regulation, which is valid until May 17, 2021, aims to reduce the potential for Covid-19 transmission.

Second, Online use in learning. In this pandemic, students cannot come to school to participate in learning activities. This results in a lack of interaction between students and teachers, lack of understanding due to time limits, large amounts of assignments, etc. Especially in practicum, because practicum is not a theory that we can re-learn.

Third, Financial problem. In this pandemic, it is very minimal for someone to leave the house, even better if they do not leave the house. This is bad for companies that employ a person. Like a convenience store that chooses to reduce its employees, so many do not have jobs. But as humans we need to spend money to live. But what if we don't have a job when we have a lot to spend, such as daily expenses, food costs, transportation, etc.

Therefore, I really want the government to be firm in this matter. For example, providing internet packages for students every month, especially for poor people and providing main food such as rice, noodles, sugar, etc. It can help poor people. That way the poverty rate will not increase and no one will leave the house because of the pandemic.
