Jakarta, in celebration of World Book Day 2025, Lintas Community held webinar "Literacy Talk" on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
The event took place from 1:00 to 2:00 PM WIB via Zoom and was attended by participants from various backgrounds.
Kiki, a participant from Semarang, shared her impression after attending the webinar.
"This webinar broadened my insight into how to create characters in stories. I can use the speaker's experiences as inspiration for characters in my own stories," she said.
Margie Amalia, a participant from Manado, Shared her impression as well.
"This webinar was really valuable for me," she stated.
The event aimed to provide insides into the world of writing and the book industry from the prespective of active writers on digital platforms.
"We want to give participants insight into the ups and downs of the writing world from different perspectives, and share the joys and challenges of working in the book industry," said Iin Saputri, founder of Lintas Community.
The three main speakers were Zelda Maharani from the KBM App, Henry Setiawan from Lentera App, and Izaddina from Wattpad.
They shared their experiences in writing fiction, particularly in the process of character development in their works.
Izaddina, who has been writing since elementary school and active on Wattpad since 2015, talked about how she finds inspiration for writing themes like metropop, fairy tales, and magical realism.
