Padang, 17th February 2025 - Genre Kota Padang, a youth organization under the auspices of DP3AP2KB Kota Padang, succesfully held the Pemilihan Duta Genre Kota Padang 2025 on Sunday (15/02). Organized by Forum Genre Kota Padang in collaboration with DP3AP3KB, the event aimed to select the new ambassadors who will serve as role models for teenagers in Kota Padang.
As in previous years, the competition attracted significant interest, with 250 participants competing for the prestigious title. After a rigorous selection process, 25 pairs of finalists were chosen to advance to the final stage.
The awarding night, held at Pangeran Beach Hotel, was a spectacular and prestigious event attended by several high-ranking officials from Kota Padang. This year, Pingkan Sukma Wati Firman from UIN Imam Bonjol Padang and Muhammad Fakhri from SMAN 12 Padang were crowned Duta Genre Kota Padang 2025.
"Of course, we are from Forum Genre Kota Padang are looking forward to the contribution that our ambassador will make this years to teenagers in Kota Padang and also the extraordinary things that this year's winner will bring to the West Sumatra level," said Nada Mahira, the Secretary of the Event.
