Become a creative student using the Canva application
It doesn't feel like today is the last day when students of Communication Studies at Aisyiyah Yogyakarta University (UNISA) along with 10 other MSMEs underwent Digital Marketing Program activities with Ms. Bondan Satria at Rumah BUMN Yogyakarta. In this last meeting, Bondan gave his closing material about learning to be creative using Canva.
Surely you are already familiar with this one application. Canva is a tool for designing posters, banners, logos and now Canva also supports video editing.
In my personal opinion, Canva is considered a simple and friendly editing tool that is easy to use and can be used on laptops or mobile phones. Within Canva itself there are several templates that we can use as references or modify designs. Because of this, I think Canva is perfect for people who are just learning how to design products.
Canva is also free for everyone, but still limited in features. If we want to unlock the features, we have to buy the Pro version. The free version is fine too, as it didn't affect our planning.
When creating graphic designs, we must have goals/targets consisting of emotional effects, market temperature, and who (persona).
Of these three goals, we need to understand tools or tools for beginners in creating content;
1. Size
2. Distance
3. Composition
4. Letters
5. Color and contrast (color palette)
