                       The first thing that I will do if I am given the opportunity or chance to be the President of the Republic of Indonesia is emphasize physical distancing by ordering companies to urge their employees that work in an office to work from home as some companies is still urging their employees to go to work and another thing that I would have done is add more police force on the street to reassure that no civilian are wandering on the street or places or getting together and hanging out with their friends and relative and assure them to wear mask while being outdoor since doing a lockdown is not possible for Indonesia.  Doing a lockdown may be problematic as doing a lockdown may lead to huge problems unlike the ones caused by physical distancing. Because doing a complete lockdown of the entire nation is very unlikely due to the entire size of Indonesia itself which is very large as it is compromised by both sea and land which makes it difficult to do a complete lockdown. Another reason why doing a lockdown is not effective is because doing a lockdown means that no one can get in or get out of a certain region and if this happened there will be a crisis or shortage of both food and water which may lead to a massive nationwide hunger which may lead to more death tolls as there is no food to consume and not to mention that doing a lockdown may have impacted the economics which may lead to an economic crisis similar to the one that had happened back in 1998 where unemployment rates are high ( even before Indonesia does a lockdown unemployment rates is already high for now ) and if a similar economic crisis happened again in 2020 it is very likely that a nationwide riot similar to the ones that had happened back in 1998 might happen again in 2020 and if that happen it is going to take a very long time for Indonesia to recover from the economic crisis no to mention the death toll if another nationwide riot happened again in 2020. While unlike a lockdown, doing a physical distancing may not lead to a hunger as food supplies still can enter or exit a certain region without problem and doing a partial lockdown might be more effective as it does not require an entire country to be stuck in a lockdown.
                        Another thing that I would have done if I were given the chance to be a president is urge teachers to give students not more than one assignment per subject in an entire week and urge teachers to make use of technology to teach their students instead of giving students assignments without teaching them the school materials needed to do a certain assignment. While giving students assignment may be needed to fill in score lists but giving students too many assignments may lead them to a heavy stress which may lead them to have lower body immunity and lower body immunity may lead them to be vulnerable to covid-19, because students needed to be in optimal health condition in order to prevent covid-19 from infecting them. I would have also ordered schools to not held final examinations as students need to take a lot of rest to be immune to covid-19. Another thing that I would have done is order network operators to give away large internet quotas in order to prevent their users from leaving their house.
