In the current international competition in education, every country must prioritize the quality and advancement of its education sector. However, the reality shows that governments are often not seriously addressing educational issues, presenting challenges for educators and the educated class to strive for educational progress. This progress can be pursued through innovations and the development of educational systems and effective learning methods. Innovation is the spearhead of change and must continually be developed according to the procedures and guidelines established by each institution to improve school quality and solve educational problems.

First, The Basic Concept of Innovation Management in Islamic Education; Innovation is always related to change, though not all changes constitute innovation. According to Rogers, innovation is an idea or object perceived as new by an individual. It must be original and creative in offering the best alternative to solve problems. In the field of education, innovation is an effort to resolve educational challenges. The characteristics of educational innovation include being relatively useful, aligned with values, accountable, and complex. Its principles include: requiring open analysis, being both conceptual and perceptual, starting from simple ideas, and being directed toward leadership or pioneering efforts.
