A community environment that aligns with Islamic values is crucial in supporting the achievement of Islamic education goals. Such an environment must reflect the principles of faith (aqidah), worship (ibadah), morality (akhlaq), and Islamic law (shari'ah). In the context of Islamic education, the environment can have both positive and negative influences on the development of students' personalities and religious attitudes. Therefore, the community environment becomes one of the vital centers in Islamic education. In addition, human resource management and various other aspects of management are also essential components in perfecting the Islamic education system.
This paper aims to provide broader insights into understanding five key aspects in the Management of Complementary Components of International Islamic Education:
-
Management of the Islamic Educational Environment
Management of Quality Services in Islamic Education
Change Management in Islamic Educational Institutions
Conflict Management in Islamic Education
Communication Management in Islamic Education
1. Management of the Islamic Educational Environment
The management of the Islamic educational environment plays a crucial role in shaping the ideal personality of students based on noble character and Islamic values. The educational environment includes not only physical aspects but also social, cultural, and religious aspects that influence student growth. In Islamic perspective, the community is the third center of education after family and school, acting as an agent of education that must foster an Islamic atmosphere. The community's role in Islamic education includes promoting good (amar ma'ruf), preventing evil (nahi munkar), collaboration, and social development based on piety. To optimize community-based educational management, strategies are needed such as building the institution's image, increasing public trust through achievements, publicizing institutional strengths, involving the community in educational activities, and establishing active relationships with community leaders.
