Epistemology comes from Greek which consists of epis and logos. Which means knowledge and love. So it can be interpreted as something related to the theory of knowledg. e of learning about the nature of knowledge, justification, and the rationality of beliefs. Some of these theories must be interrelated in order to find a conclusion of intrinsic new knowledge. Epistemology is also a branch of philosophy that studies the origin, nature, methods, and limits of human knowledge.
In epistemology, the issues discussed are about what is meant by knowledge, how one can know something, how to obtain knowledge, how to judge validity, and what is the difference between a priori knowledge and a priori knowledge. Not only that, epistemology also discusses the differences that exist between beliefs, knowledge, opinions, facts, reality, errors, ideas, truth, certainty and probability.
