     The mechanism and function of Islamic Education Management in the scientific field provide creative inspiration in building scientific concepts. However, we must also be adaptive and educational towards the rules of education management found in various literatures and influenced by the thoughts of Westerners. This is based on the idea that in general the rules of education management are universal, as well as in managing Islamic educational institutions. However, in reality, there are certain rules that are not in accordance with Islamic values. Therefore, Islamic education management requires various management functions that can be adjusted to the reality and values of Islam.
First: The Planning Function in Islamic Education Management, which is the first step that must be truly considered by managers and administrators of Islamic education for the sake of sustainability with optimal results and goals achieved. The requirements for its preparation are accuracy, clarity, timeliness, phase relevance, attention to aspects, and organizational ability. Planning criteria in Islamic Education are based on data, made by experts, thorough and detailed, simple, follow developments, sustainable with improvements, and risk taking. Likewise in the preparation activities which include determining priorities, setting goals as a guide, formulating procedures, and handing over responsibilities.
Second: The Function of Organizing Islamic Education Management, the process of determining the structure, activities, interactions, coordination, structural design, authority, tasks transparently, and clearly in accordance with the objectives and consistent with the principles. In general, there are 3 Requirements for Organizing, namely the division of tasks, authority and responsibility, creating an integrated structure, uniting various people in one group. The purpose of organizing is to make it easier to carry out tasks, supervise subordinates, focus on certain goals, and determine the people needed. The Organizing Process by detailing work, dividing the workload, combining work logically and efficiently, determining mechanisms, and monitoring the effectiveness of the organization.
Third: Directing Function (directing) Leadership, The process of giving tasks, orders, instructions so that staff understand the wishes of the leader and contribute effectively and efficiently to achieve goals by continuously learning in knowledge, skills and attitudes in carrying out direction. The Directing Components consist of the director, who is given direction, the contents of the direction in the form of orders, prohibitions, or guidance, and the direction method which is a communication system. Meanwhile, the Principle of the Directing Process which is a guidance process based on religious principles to colleagues, exemplary behavior, consistency, openness, and policies, as well as good and correct direction content.
Fourth: Supervision of Islamic Education Management, Continuous monitoring process to ensure the implementation of planning consistently, both materially and spiritually. Meanwhile, the Requirements for Control or supervision require a plan and require an organizational structure. The Principles of Supervision are material and spiritual, humane methods, with an approach inspired by Islamic values. In addition, activities in supervision can be in the form of observing the implementation of operational activities, ensuring that everything runs as it should, actual performance is in accordance with objectives, there are corrections, and monitoring.
Therefore, Islamic education management planning is the main key to determining the next activity in accordance with the desire so that the goals that have been set can be achieved optimally. Organization by dividing tasks, authority, and responsibilities according to the needs of the organization and the expertise of members to facilitate the implementation of performance effectively and efficiently. With the direction of staff can understand the desires and contribute effectively and efficiently in carrying out the instructions and guidance given. Supervision ensures the implementation of planning according to what it should be that upholds human dignity and is based on Islamic values.
