Function of Global/International Islamic Education Management

Islamic education management requires various management functions. Management functions in education in general include the Planning Function, Organising Function, Directing Function, and Controlling Function. These functions can be described as follows. This section discusses the basic functions of Global Islamic Education Management; The planning process in Education (Educational Planning) Educational Organising (Organizing) Educational Leadership (Educational Ledership) Supervision and Education Quality Assurance System.
This paper aims to explain and describe the functions of management in the context of global or international Islamic education. In an increasingly complex era of globalisation, Islamic education faces new challenges and opportunities that demand effective, professional and internationally oriented management. Therefore, an understanding of management functions such as planning, organising, actuating and controlling becomes very important. Each of these functions has a strategic role in ensuring that Islamic educational institutions are not only relevant at the local level, but also able to compete and contribute in the global arena. Through the right managerial approach.
First: The Planning Function in Islamic Education Management; Planning has a very important role in Islamic education management. As the main part of the managerial process, planning is the foundation for the sustainability and success of an educational institution. Errors in determining the direction and strategy of planning can be fatal to the goals and sustainability of Islamic education itself. In the context of Islamic education, planning is not only orientated towards achieving worldly goals, but also towards happiness in the hereafter, so the balance between the two should be the main focus in the planning.
Second: Organising Function of Islamic Education Management; Organising in Islamic education management serves to unite the vision and mission through a neatly arranged structure so that educational goals can be achieved. Organising is the process of compiling and gathering all the resources needed, in accordance with the plan that has been set. A good organisational structure allows each individual to carry out tasks according to their respective roles in an integrated manner. The main purpose of organising is to create effective cooperation in one place, be it an institution or an Islamic education organisation.
Third: The directing function of leadership is very important in Islamic education management because it determines how a leader manages his subordinates effectively. A leader must have the ability to organise, provide clear direction, and maintain a good opinion with confidence. In the process of direction there are four main components, namely the party giving the direction, the party receiving the direction, the content of the direction, and the method used.
Fourth: Supervision of Islamic Education Management; Supervision in Islamic education management is a continuous monitoring process to ensure that planning is carried out consistently, both in material and spiritual aspects. The supervisory function includes measuring and improving the implementation of activities, so that the goals and plans that have been set can be achieved optimally. In the Islamic concept, the principle of supervision emphasises a humane approach and is based on Islamic values.
Islamic education management includes four main functions: planning, organising, directing and supervising. Planning is the main foundation that directs educational goals, both worldly and ukhrawi. Organising aims to arrange resources systematically so that the vision and mission of the institution are achieved.
