Before I write anything... look at  these photos of amazing beaches troughout Karimunjawa and its surrounding islands.
Well, me and my girls (ok, girls again.. why? don't ask!) started off the journey by taking 6-7 hours train ride Jakarta - Semarang, followed by 2 hours car ride Semarang - Jepara, waiting, praying, waiting for more and to the finale; a five hour crowded ferry in a high ocean waves. easy.
If you look at map of Indonesia, first find the Java Island, just above Central Java or Jepara lays a number of islands. Karimunjawa is the biggest of the bunch but even it is extremely small. Karimunjawa has Alun-alun that turn into fish market in the afternoon. A number of motorbikes but only a few of cars. Electricity in the main island is 24 hours and you can find SPBU Pertamina there. Life is good.
we booked a trip to Karimunjawa for 4D3N. Very recommended travel guide. Friendly and funny guide and good equipments!!
DAY 1
Arrived and got some rest in our homestay. No schedule for Day 1 so we decided to rent scooter and strolling around the island.
