The Axiology

     Axiology came from Greek. Axiology consists of Axio is value and Logos is theory. So, axiology is theory about value. According Indonesia Dictionary, axiology is the use of science for human life or the study of values. 

Axiology  devided into 2 :

1. Ethice come from the word ethos that is character. The meaning is a character associated with individualism or groups as ameans of evaluating the truth.

2. Aesthetics is a branch of philosophy that discusses beauty. Or aesthetics is the science that discusses how  beauty can be formed , and how to feel it. 

The streams in axiology : 

A. Idealism  is one of the streams in axiology that discusses knowledge and truth which cultuminates in ideas.

B. Pragmatism is theory of the truth that bases itself about the function of the statement in the scope of space and time.

C. Intuisionism is a feeling or thought about something whitout knowing why those feeling anse.

D. Hedonism is a view of life taht is realized with a lifestyle where personal enjoyment takes presedence as the main goal in living life.
