The Mortality Psychology: People's Paradigmatics of the Death

Every human being lives on the earth surface will meet a limitiation, which is known by the 'death' or 'mortality'. The explanation regarding this, is associated with the motivation of life and people beliefs, both based on their religions or not. People are divided in two categories, those are: 1) They who believe that the mortality is the open gate and the starting point to an immortality world; and 2) They who believe that the mortality is the tipping point and the end of the life in this world. If we compare both of these groups, they have the same opinion that the death is present in our life, but they have different opinion about the meaning and the purpose of the death. Although there are pros and contras, until now this subject is still argued by many experts. 

The first group are sure that to encounter the decease which is as the open gate to the eternity, they believe that all things they have done in this world will be valued or assessed by the God. If they have done something good,  all of what they have done will be worthed and they will get a reward which is called as the 'heaven'. In contrast, if they do the bad things in their life, they will get a punishment which is called by the 'hell'. On the other hand, the second group argue that the mortality is the end of everything. They think that how and what they do in todays world will be directly judged and punished by the society around you and within the environment where you live in. Overall, these people believe that the purpose of life is only to be known and famous, or to be forgotten. Thus, they compete to do and make or create something crucial, even it influences the negative impact to the wider society. They only think about how to become popular, famous, and known by the people around him. Both of these paradigmatics are based on the human's knowledge and experiences. 

The explanation above is an abstract of human's mind sketches about interpreting death and life. It becomes a bridge to deepen understand to the mortality subject. The aim of the Psychology is to make people can adapt well psychologically maximumly in the situation and condition where they live, can make a good consideration and better decision and bravely taking the risks when encountering the problems. The Mortality Psychology tries to study and comprehend the mind, fellings, and someone's behavior of seeing the death as an imposing, spectacular, or even terrifying event which actually has a big impact in individual and social life.

Both of the different arguments about life and death which is explained above create distinguished perceptions and behaviors among others. Talking about bereavement can emerge a rebellion that keeps mordacity in every human soul: the awareness and trust that the death will come and everybody and everything we love in this world will be extinc. This awareness then evolves a refusal protest that every of us do not want to die. Everybody tries to avert and avoid every road towards the bereavement. Our soul always think about the immortality. The rejection and refusal protests, then produce two groups of the mortality psychology which have been informed on above. 

The first group is called by the religious group: those are who make the religion as a source that the life after death is present. They make the final life (akhirat) as the highest target. They believe that world life is supposed to be enjoyed but not as the most important and not the final purpose of life. The second group is called by the secular group. They have the heroism spirit to be memorized all the time. For complying this motivation, they want to contribute highly for their society, so everybody tries to leave the heritages such as photographs, big statues, written works and cemeteries. All of these are proving an action that everybody prevents the bereavement; everybody wants to have an immortality life; and everybody wants to be remembered as a hero so that his/her soul can be immortal continually.

In the religious madzhab view, if the motivation to live lasting is not distributed to the right way, it will be a-nihilism-egoistic character. So, they will always pursue the self-glory ended to the pesimism and tragedy because what they overtake finally will be ended as a fleetingness. On contrast, the secular madzhab  believe that the worldly comfort zone is the peak of target. However, this madzhab still can be divided by two groups. Firstly, they who still endeavor to live the good and honorable name behind to be remembered as a history. Secondly, they who becomes the devotees of hedonistic life because they do not really care about the history's assessment and jurisdiction. 

In the conclusion, the mortality paychology endeavors to explain the psychological reaction of the people correlated to the death meanings, process, and perspectives. People can choose to decide to believe to be a part of the the first madzhab, or the second madzhab; because it is not only influenced by their knowledge, but also by their experience of life.
