English Conversation: Electric Vehicle and Flying Vehicle

A: Recently, there're many news about electric vehicle innovations. Is it good or bad you think?

B: Of course it's a good news. It means we realize the importance of "green technology".

A: However, some people see weak points from electric vehicles.

B: Such as?

A: The maximum speed is limited and there're only few places to recharge the battery.

B: About the limited speed, I think it's a good point. It means the vehicle will be safe.

A: I guess, sooner or later, electric vehicle will dominate our transportation system. 

B: I think so... if the places for recharging the battery are spread in many places equally. 

A: Not so long ago, there were ideas about flying car. In fact, we still can see the pictures on internet now.

B: Yeah... but, it seems the idea wasn't the good one. Flying car is very expensive and considered unsafe too.

A: So, electric vehicle is better? How do we solve the problem of traffic jam in many cities around the world, then?

B: By creating flying-electric vehicles... hahaha. Combine the two ideas.

A: Hahaha... that's actually a good idea. But, I guess you're right... some people think flying vehicles are unsafe. 

B: Other option is... by spreading the economic activities equally so that people will no longer work in big cities only. 

A: That idea is actually not very new. Strangely, massive development only happens in cities.

B: Well, I'm not an expert in city development. Luckily, I'm only a public tranportation user. I don't like complicated life style.

A: Here you go again... an introvert guy saying about his "life philosophy". Hahaha....

B: No, I disagree with you on this. Some extrovert people are public transportation users too, you know.

A: OK... OK, you're right... hahaha. Let's get back to our topic. So, finally electric vehicle ideas beat flying vehicle ideas... right?

B: Only time will tell. But judging from many news, it seems that electric vehicle is more attractive, safe, and affordable. 

A: The price of fossil fuel is more and more expensive due its rarity. People will realize electric vehicle might be the only answer.

B: Yeah... let's all forget about the flying vehicle, then. I hate flying, anyway... hahaha.
