Dressed with silk and lace,
Full make-up but not too much,
Soft hair with red ribbon in the right side,
White skin like porcelain,
Beautiful smile which never leave her face,
Perfect. She is so perfect.
She is starting to dance in the crowd,
So powerful, so energetic.
Everyone is cheering for her.
Everyone is applauding her.
She is smiling,
Well, she is always smiling.
They cannot see that the strings attached to her back.
Strings which have taken all of her freedom.
And the truth is she does not want to dance.
She hates it.
But, she does not have much choice, does she?
She is just an ordinary puppet.
All she wants is to be free.
Free to do what she really wants.
But, she is afraid to think of the cost,
The cost of freedom.
Something that she thinks she cannot afford.
That is why,
While she is waiting for the opportunity,
She will keep dancing,
She will keep smiling.
Even if it is breaking her heart so much,
Even if it is making her suffer,
She will keep moving,
Until she has the courage to break free.
