Comrade in Arms

Nara is a grade 12 student from SMA Garuda. He comes from a simple family but he is very smart so it's only natural that he always ranks first in his class without anyone being able to match him. He has a good friend named Nila. In addition, Nara is quite well known in her school, because she served as chairman of the OSIS. His kind and friendly attitude made the teachers admire him. However, some of his classmates dislike him especially Tere and his gang because of jealousy.

At that time, the morning light lit up Nara's house, she was still fast asleep from doing her homework all night until she was woken up by her mother with a rather high tone. Then Nara woke up, then she immediately rushed to the bathroom and got ready after looking at the clock which showed 06.00 am. After everything was done, Nara went to school using public transportation and she didn't have time to eat breakfast.

Arriving at school, Nara met Nila at the school gate and they immediately entered the classroom to take part in learning with focus and enthusiasm. When the lesson started, a teacher said that today the 12th grade would be holding a simulation exam. Nara and the other friends were calm hearing that, while Tere and his gang complained even though the teacher let them. When the exam was over, the teacher told him that the result of doing the exam simulation with the highest score in his class was Nara. 

Tere heard that feeling jealous and disapproved so he always slandered Nara by saying he was cheating or cooperating with Nila. Nila as Nara's friend always defends Nara because she doesn't like Tere's attitude like that. But Nara remained calm with the condition. The class situation returned to normal after a commotion broke out because of Tere and his gang.

The next day, when learning begins, a teacher is discussing dreams or aspirations to plans after graduation to Nara and her classmates. Starting from Tere who answered that he would continue his father's business in a well-known company to his other friends, mostly the same, who would start working right away except for Nara and Nila. Nara replied that he would continue his education to a higher level, namely to the world of lectures as well as Nila. Tere and his gang drop Nara's dream by telling her that it hurts Nara. 

"Nara, don't dream too high, because you come from a poor family, how can you go to college, especially in a well-known state university. If you don't fulfill your dream, you'll cry," said Tere, laughing. Meanwhile, Nara tried to be calm after hearing those words even though in her heart she was sad at Tere's words. Nara who only smiled in response to Tere's words. The teacher also reprimanded Tere and his friends not to underestimate other people's dreams let alone her own friends. Although many doubted, Nara remained optimistic about her dreams. On the other hand, Nila always gave support and encouragement to Nara so that they could study.

Nara and Nila always try to register at various campuses. Once upon a time after they graduated, Nara was accepted into the campus of her dreams through an exam. This made Nara happy and grateful. However, before entering the lecture Nara had to pay a registration fee in advance which was a very large amount for him. He feels unable to pay it and intends to step back seeing his family's financial condition is impossible to pay and he doesn't  want to burden his parents. After hearing this, Nila didn't agree with Nara's decision because she had been fighting hard all this time. 

Nila also intends to help Nara because Nara has always helped Nila and they already treat them like brothers. From there, Nara didn't  want to accept it because she felt bad because Nila herself had not been accepted at the campus she had registered. Nila always convinces Nara to accept help from him without thinking about Nila's current condition, which has not yet passed.

Thus Nara received assistance from Nila so that she could continue her studies and she participated in the scholarship selection until she passed the scholarship. On the other hand, Nila was finally accepted into her dream campus through an independent path. They always communicate well even though they are from different campuses. They are grateful to be able to understand each other and help each other.

A few months later, the high school class in their class held a reunion. Nara and Nila also attended the event. Then when the event started, their classmates exchanged stories and asked what activities they were doing now. When Nara spoke that she was studying at a prestigious university, Tere was shocked and she felt ashamed and sorry for having doubted her dream in the past. Tere apologized to Nara for his past behavior that always hurt Nara. Nara gracefully forgives and doesn't mind what Tere and his gang have done at that time. And in the end, they live in peace and support each other.
