In this modern era, leadership management is a crucial issue in the management of educational institutions, both formal and informal. The phenomenon that occurred shows that many Islamic educational institutions have not been able to compete due to weak leadership in managing global changes and dynamics. The assumption is that effective and visionary leadership can encourage the achievement of optimal quality of education. The lack of leadership competence in taking strategic and professional policies is a major problem in education. Therefore, this essay aims to examine the concept, competence, and management model of Islamic education leadership to improve the quality and productivity of the institution.

First: the nature of Islamic education leadership management; Islamic educational leadership management is the process of managing resources to achieve educational goals through planning, organizing, directing, and supervising. Leadership in Islamic education must be situational and spiritual. Leaders play the role of motivators, policy directors, and facilitators. The effectiveness of educational institutions is largely determined by the quality of management and leadership. The main functions of leaders include empowering subordinates, completing tasks on time, and establishing harmonious relationships with the community in order to achieve the vision and mission of Islamic educational institutions.

Second: Leadership Management Competencies of Islamic Education Institutions; Leadership management in Islamic educational institutions requires four main competencies: leadership traits and skills, problem-solving skills, social skills, and professional knowledge and competence. Leaders must emulate the morals of the Prophet, be able to manage conflicts wisely, establish harmonious social relationships, and have strategic planning and vision. These competencies are important to create a conducive educational environment, improve the quality of institutions, and ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of Islamic educational institutions.

Third: the Decision Model of Islamic Education Institutions Leaders; Decision-making in the leadership of Islamic education should be based on the integration of four main bases: religion, philosophy, psychology, and sociology. Religion leads to objective justice without discrimination; philosophy, especially existentialism, emphasizes freedom and responsibility; Hormic psychology underlines the role of instinct and personality in behavior; While the sociology of actor networks emphasizes the importance of social networks in influencing decisions. This multidisciplinary approach ensures thoughtful, adaptive, and holistic educational decisions according to the demands of the social and spiritual context.

Fourth: Performance Productivity of Islamic Education Institutions; The productivity of the performance of Islamic educational institutions is highly determined by the quality of their human resources. The main factors that affect performance include ability, motivation (internal and external), work environment (physical and non-physical), transparency of the assessment system, and career path. Productivity reflects the mental attitude to continuously improve oneself and work results. Performance measurement is based on quantity, quality, timeliness, attendance, and teamwork, all of which contribute to the effective and efficient achievement of the organization's strategic objectives.

The leadership management of Islamic education determines the direction, function, responsibility, and quality of the institution. Islamic leaders must be moral, professional, communicative, solutionive, and build harmonious relationships. Leaders make decisions based on influences, needs, and the foundation of religion and science. Furthermore, productivity is influenced by ability, motivation, environment, and is measured through performance and cooperation.
