Long time ago, in the Daha Kingdom there lived the King was named King Kertamarta. He has two daughters named Galuh Ajeng and Candra Kirana.
Candra Kirana has a very charming facial beauty. Her fiance is Raden Inu Kertapati who  is the crown prince of the Kahuripan kingdom.
Galuh  Ajeng was envious of the engagement of Cadra Kirana and Raden Inu Kertapati
Actually, Galuh Ajeng also loves Raden Inu Kertapati who is handsome, manly, and smart. Therefore she was very jealous. Because of that jealousy she became hateful. Then, Galuh Ajeng planned a way to get Candra Kirana out of the kingdom. Secretly Galuh Ajeng asked for help from the evil witch to curse Candra Kirana into something terrible form.
"Alright." Said the witch agreed to the request Galuh Ajeng. "Try to get Candra Kirana out of the palace so that i can meet her in person. That's when I will curse her into another form."
Then Galuh Ajeng tricked evil. She slandered Candra Kirana. Because of that, King Kertamarta was angry with Candra Kirana and he drove away his youngest child.
Candra Kirana left the palace with a broken heart. She walked indefinitely and finally arrived at the beach. The witch who secretly followed Candra Kirana, appeared when she saw that on the beach there was only Candra Kirana alone. "Be you the golden snail!" curse the witch.
And then Candra Kirana turns into a golden snail.
Then, the evil witch threw the golden snail into the sea, exclaiming "My curse will dissapear if you meet your fience!"
One day a  grandmother from Dadapan village was fishing using a net. The golden snail stuck in the net, and then the grandmother took the golden snail into her hut. At the first she was going to cook the golden snail she got. But when she saw how beautiful the golden snail, she undo it. The grandmother then put the golden snail in a jar and fed it so that the golden nail did not die.
The next day the grandmother returned to find fish. But that day the grandmother only got a few fish and only sold enough to buy rice. The grandmother had imagined that today she would only eat rice without side dishes. But how shocked the grandmother was when she got home, she saw various dishes presented on her dining table. The grandmother was confused because she felt she didn't cook and also didn't ask anyone to cook for her. Because his stomach was hungry the grandmother immediately ate the dish. After finishing eating, the grandmother realized that her house was clean and neat.
