last night i watched a movie, it was Night at The Museum - The Battle of The Smithsonian, and today I'm not going to talk about the movie ... however the movie review will be posted on another place and some other time haha ...
there is this song, played at the end of the movie that gives me a really deep impression. the scene was when ben stiller, the main character, gazing at amy adams. its not the scene that i like but the song was so beautiful that you just want to keep on listening to it over and over again. when the music start to play, it was a hit to your brain, a sound that so addictive, that you just want to have some more.
so today lets live the life in technicolor as the coldplay do ^^
life in technicolor was released in 2008, it is an instrumental song from coldplay's fourth album Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, and the length of this song is 2.29. short but fantastic i think. the music begins with a rather soothing tune, then after it followed by the sound of yangqin and tabla. yangqin is a traditional instrument from china while tabla is from india, both of them make such a marvelous collaboration. you will hear them throughout the song, repeated until it ends.
since its instrumental then of course there will be no lyrics leading your thoughts into a part that the writer wants you to take. but it's just music and your wild imagination, no one tell you where to go, letting your mind decided what this is going to be. so to me ...
this song makes me want to run as fast as i can, leaving everything behind, don't give a damn care about what goes on around, you just run, until you're tired and out of breath. this song makes you want to make a giant leap, you jump so high and it seem that you can almost touch the sky.
this song makes me grateful to what had happened to me, it makes me wants to say thank you to my one sided first love, that if he didn't left me, i wouldn't now how it feels to be loved and i wouldn't never know how it feels to be left behind, i would never know how it feels to be hurt, i would never know how it feels to forgive and forget, and so i would never know how it feels and how hard it is to let go, i would never know how it feels to make peace with my self, i would never be grown up, i would never be the person i am today. but now i know, i will never be the same again.
this of course is not in the song, but it's only my interpretation to that lovely music, so i really suggest that you listen to the song while you read this review ^^
