TikTok is one of platform that gives a special dimension to its users by making a short video with hundreds of filters that can make video looks more eye catching and can be accessed by everyone, as long as we have an internet network. The more unique and funny the video is published, the more people who want to see the video. This tendency, Â causing TikTok users to do anything just to gain their popularity.
Not only that, at this time, when the Corona or Covid-19 virus becomes pandemic throughout the world, TikTok was  mentioned to be a savior throughout the all community to reduce depression and burnout that we have been facing when self-quarantined. In fact, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg called TikTok a new phenomenon that has emerged in social media features. "TikTok is a quite interesting phenomenon," Zuckerberg said in an internal Facebook meeting that was leaked to the public as reported by Tirto.
According to Zuckerberg, the platform "is very similar to the Explore Tab that we have on Instagram." Then, TikTok provides videos in vertical format, Zuckerberg also mentioned that they are "like the Stories feature," which are also shared by Facebook and WhatsApp.
" Our application, WhatsApp, is used by demonstrators and activists around the world as a platform of communication because of the strength of it's encryption and privacy. On the other hands, TikTok, is an application from China which is now growing rapidly, uploading content related to protest actions will be immediately censored, even this happens in America, "said Zuckerberg.
"Is this the internet world that we want (which is full of TikTok-style censorship actions)? As Zuckerberg asked to audiences at the campus. "TikTok is truly the first internet product made by the Chinese giant tech which is a huge success in around the world," he continued.
