Recently, our earth is experiencing a big phenomenon of global warming, the occurrence of global warming is followed by global climate change. Actually, what "Global Warming" is? Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the earth's surface (atmosphere) and the rise of the oceans. Is Global warming a threat? Of course yes, because of the climate change of global warming the long-term survival of all creatures the earth, not only the environment and animal but human also. Some people do not believe if global warming is real, but in fact, global warming is an issue that makes a big impact in our world. Especially in earth's polar region, when the polar ice melted.
Global Warming can cause several things that can be ruined the environment. First, the burning of fossil fuels, like coal and crude oil. When fossil fuels are burned they give off a greenhouse called carbon dioxide. Besides carbon dioxide, other gasses are release to the earth like methane, nitrogen oxide, and also. All of the gasses are dangerous towards the environment and make pollution to the earth that can trigger the onset of global warming.Â
Second, deforestation. Deforestation is an activity of cutting out trees in the forest in with the purpose of development of that particular place. Â Because of this activity, the earth will be lack of carbon dioxide gas and causing much more of greenhouse gasses release to the earth. All of the cause can lead the global warming issues, that can affect the world.
Effect on global warming already felt by plants and some animal, especially some animal in the earth's polar region. Global warming has the serious impact on the environment and society. First, the high temperature will cause the melting of polar ice. If the polar ice melted, the sea levels will be rising and some animals like polar bears and seals will extinct. Imagine, if there is no solution to prevent this situation the world will be covered by water because of global warming. Second, the increasing of temperatures will be extremes. The temperatures will heater than the years before, and it will cause some disease increase like malaria. More event related to deaths, injuries, infections, disease, and stress.
We already know that global warming is the biggest problem nowadays. So, how we can address the solution. The solution can come from the individual, national, even international. For the individual solution, we can prevent by plant the trees, smarter to use the household electricity, reduce to the usage of fuels, and reduce all of the things that can be ruined our environment.Â
For the national solution, the government can change the energy sources from fossils fuels to the solar energy. It will more benefit for them, us, and the earth. The last for the international solution, we can stop all new offshore oil and gas drilling. Because to drill the companies should drag icebergs out to their way and use giant hoses to melt floating ice with warm water. That activity can make the sea levels more increase.
In conclusion, global warming is already threatening the worldwide. The issues threat the environment, animals, and human also. If we do not try to stop and prevent it, the earth will be ruined. We can start with our self because the little things can bring the biggest change. Stop global warming to save our earth and our future.
