The SARS-COV-2 virus or more commonly known as the disease of the COVID-19 pandemic, has cause some of the most disruptive changes in our daily lives in the world since 1st of January 2020. Although the government has put measures  to help combat the virus, sometime it's not enough to convince the people to actually act according to the actions being given out by the government. The citizens of Indonesia does not listen to the message by the government and stills roam around like animals in the wild. And this alone has spreads the virus and infect more people overtime.

To give you a refresher, The SARS-COV-2 Virus (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2) or the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 19[2019]) is a respiratory virus that infects the respiratory system of the body, this can causes flu, fatigue, coughing, and even death. It originated from China and has been spreading around since.

Right now, The government current actions to combat the virus are, try to stay home, and practise social and physical distancing with other people when out in public areas, and only go outside for essential purposes, like going to get supplies from the grocery store. And that kind of action can be done with minimal people as possible.

Although this alone hasn't tackle the more serious problem, being Indonesia's poor  and loss employment rate, decreasing supplies in medical ( both in toilet paper and hand sanitizer), increased prices in supplies in malls and shops and supermarkets. This has the effect spreads across the world, US, China and every other country has people panic buying and supplies are decreasing which in turn increase the cost on other supplies. And almost forgot to mention that a lot of people ended in hospitals and overcrowding the hospitals because of the virus because of people were in close proximities of each other, and spreading the virus from person to person.  This has a chain reaction effect that happened in most countries, including Indonesia

So what you do if you are the president? This a  subjective question , and I don't want any of your opinions, but in my case I will enforce on the self isolation each area of the country. And as well enforce the Social and physical distance by asking the police to ask the people not to attend to any events or go to any malls, etc, other than getting supplies for a family or communities.

And i would perform a regional lockdown of regions and the countries    itself, so not to infect other people and infected come to the country. We need to minimize as much contact as possible from inside and out. And also when you're outside, really make sure  to wear a mask at all times and recommend to wear latex gloves to prevent direct contact with the environment  and other people. And don't touch you face.

That are the ways to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and the virus itself. Hope that you can follow these precaution and stay safe and contribute to prevent the Coronavirus.
