Tangerang-Al Mukhlisin Mosque Management Leader, Mardiyanto who recently served as the leader, managed to renovate the mosque which had not been renovated since its establishment. The Mosque which is located in Parung Jaya Village, Tangerang City is undergoing renovations in early 2022 which received funds of up to Rp 175 Million.
"Along with the increase in population, the Al-Mukhlisin Mosque no longer accommodates large congregations," Mardiyanto Said (2022/06/15).
Al-Mukhlisin Mosque was built in 2012 and can accommodate up to 90 people. However, the population of RT 02 and RT 03 RW 4 Kp. Parung Kored has increased and reached approximately 500 families. That's what made Mardiyanto and other new Mosque Management to build the Mosque into two levels.
Construction is still ongoing because it was stopped during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. Helped by residents and relatives, Mardiyanto was able to realize his noble goals without a shortage of funds.
"I opened a new account specifically for Mosque finances and Alhamdulillah, every day there's always money coming in. I pray that those who participate in this renovation will always be devoted to Allah," Mardiyanto said (2022/06/15).
Finally the local residents can pray in congregation in the mosque without worrying about capacity. During Ramadan last April, many residents began to pray Tarawih in the mosque after the pandemic. They miss the atmosphere of Ramadan as usual which was lost by the pandemic. They also hold recitations together every Friday night at the Al Mukhlisin Mosque. "I'm so grateful to see it," reply Mardiyanto.Â
