Jakarta, Indonesia -- Indonesia President, Joko Widodo, announced a cabinet reshuffle on June 15, 2022, appointing two new ministers and three new vice ministers. One of them is a new trade minister following oil palm issues.
On Wednesday, there's an official ceremony at the state palace the president inaugurated PAN Chairman, Zulkifli Hasan, as the new trade minister, former TNI chief, Hadi Tjahjanto, as the new agrarian minister, and from PSI, Raja Juli Antoni, as vice agrarian minister. They are replacing Muhammad Lutfi, Sofyan Djalil, and Surya Tjandra respectively.
Jokowi also reassigned John Wempi Wetipo, formerly public works vice minister, as the new vice minister for home affairs. Meanwhile, Star Crescent Party (PBB) secretary general, Afriansyah Noor, has been named vice minister for manpower. Both positions are previously vacant.
