2. We need to use correct tense.

The second furnish is using a correct tense for our text. It is important to make our text understandable. Because it is a fact, that is happened all the time, everyday, or all the years, and always be like that, (just like a general truth), then we use simple present tense.

For example:   

"Cats are animals that live in houses. They eat fish and like to sleep on the carpet in front of the door house. Sometimes they miaw when the are hungry. But they will stop when people give them milk."

Sometimes, we need to use other tense for example when we like to tell a story (as information). "The cat in my house was found in 2010 when it was suddenly appear in my backyard". For that case we use simple past tense.
