Indonesia is a country with that has very large population and majority of the population in Indonesia are Muslims. Even though Indonesia is not an Islamic state, Muslims dominate the population of the country. Therefore, every aspects of social life in Indonesia is inseparable from the contribution of Muslims, starting from the government, business people, and educators in schools. Thus, it makes Islamic values increasingly develop by itself.

The development of era makes Islam must have a strategy in da'wah to convey its religious values especially in the current millennial era, because Islam is still difficult to be in the forefront in contributing to this aspect. However, Muslims are still continue to contribute in every important aspect in Indonesia but often abandoned their Islamic values and prioritized personal interests which clearly deviate from the common welfare. In the aspect of education, for example, Muslims are still actively involved in educating the nation's children both in formal and non-formal education at all levels. But, the reality is inversely proportional for the morals and ethics who possessed by teenagers who are in school or who have graduated in high school.

In this era, there are many social cases that lead to moral crises with an alarming level such as drug abuse, pornography, and immoral acts. Therefore, it is not surprising that in 2018, Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) released data that 84% students in Indonesia had experienced violence at school. Not only that, but there are also social cases which is not appropriate and violates morals values and ethics. It shows that the current generation of the nation has a low character. From the data above, it could be assumed that education in Indonesia has been out from Islamic values.

Education becomes a place to gain a material knowledge and dogma but never apply the character education system and understanding of moral and ethical values. This can also be seen from the many cases that happen in the world of education and also intelligent people who commit despicable acts, one of them is corruption. This despicable act is not because they do not know between right and wrong, but they have lost faith in themselves and they are blinded by their own selfishness. Education should be the first key to improve the equality of human regarding ethics.

On this occasion, author have a relevant idea to improve the quality of Islamic education in the current millennial era. Based on the author's view, there are many non-formal educations developing in the form of technology to facilitate students' knowledge, for example, audio-visual knowledge, video explanation material, online question banks to consultations on material that is still not understood. It happens because in this era, acceleration and effectiveness is needed especially in education. There is no problem if technology becomes alternative to be an efficient learning to provide additional knowledge for students. But, it will be a fatal error if they only prioritized on science without involving moral and ethical knowledge.

As a result, it has an impact on the lack of ways students' value and respect teachers at the school. For example, the author found a case in Kompas media portal on 2/12/2019 about a student who fought with a teacher because his phone was confiscated. The incident was happened at SMP 20 Bulukumba, Kajang district, Bulukumba regency, South Sulawesi. It occurred because Islamic education in Indonesia, especially in the aspect of character education has been lost and such things will continue to happen every day and increase, because they feel that the knowledge that thet got from online methods was enough. In other words, schools are only become formality and the impact is the student could not appreciate the real teacher.

Creative innovation about collaboration between education and technology is one of the recommendations of this article, but it is different from start-ups or apps that are already running at the moment. The author has an idea to build an app called Morality Education which will provide all science to the students at all levels, and the students could get it for free. But, before access the apps, there will be a simple rule that the students should do, which is giving a password but not in the form of alphabet or numeric, but using animation system. The animation will be built in a few aspects in each chapters and it will be match to the students' level.

The morality education animation will involve ethical values, moral, and a person character in real form rather than dogma theory. If the students have completed the animation rule, they can access the applied learning for free and get regular application facilities. According to the author, this is an idea that needs to be realized to improve the morals and ethics of students in Indonesia so that is not only limited to learning about skills and knowledge but also continues to prioritize integrity as Muslims.
